Friendly. Comfort. Clean.

The staff is friendly and helpful to keep the same room while we request the extension night of stay. There is some food is ready for vegetarian in the breakfast. Housekeeping is good and consistent.

It was lovely experience but facility need to improve

Room very clean cozy, and pillows not too soft or hard, It just so comfortable. Location very near to few restaurants and the famous Kayu Nasi Kandar, just need to walk +-2mins

I was disappointed since no lift/elevator from parking level to lobby (not sure if available but hidden, i couldn't find) So those with big heavy luggage or special-need person, should consider to stop drop at hotel entrance.

felt way below our expectation of this brand.

the duty manager did try her utmost to address the issue that we encountered, but it was still very frustrating for us.

we booked into a 2bedroom apartment, upon checked in, the first apartment have 3 out of 4 AC not blowing cool air, a ceiling light with no bulb, the tv remote control that doesnt work!!!! we called up front office to inform n instead of immediately changing it, they said they will send up the technician! only when upon request that we can't sit around waiting for the technician to fix all the issues, then only we were given a change of apartment. upon getting the 2nd apartment, and as we were trying to cool down, power trip!!! the whole apartment electricity supply cut off!!!!!!! as we had to go out to attend to an appointment, we informed the staff n left. when we returned 2 hours later, weary n tired; we were told that the issue is settled. we went up n upon opening the door, AC flap were opened but no electricity!!!!! damn!!!! were told that they did check but the power tripped again! were changed to another room, which finally has everything working. can't wait to check out the next day!!!

Ok for one night

Good location as close to the airport and easy access to Penang bridge out of the island. It was good to have the dining room and lounge area for my family to use, although being an apartment I would have expected cutlery and dishes as well.

One bedroom had a king bed and an ensuite which was quite a tight fit and the other bedroom was a twin bed with an ensuite. I wish this room had at least a double bed. Strangely enough there was another bedroom that had nothing in it apart from the kettle and tea and coffee - I feel this room could have been used better. The apartment was located in an area that required to elevators to reach, and in between the 2 elevators there was a strange little walk through an exit past the conference room. For one night's stay this was ok but would be annoying for any longer.

- They were willing to proceed our request on late checkup.

- They were willing to proceed our request on late checkup. The extend checkout time without extra fee is 1pm and the latest check out is around 7pm with the payment of a half day price. - The location is good for those who know where to go around other than George Town. - The room was facing to the main street and it has good view. - The hotel has changed their name just a month ago, so if the driver doesn't know where is the hotel, you can tell that it's "Vistana Hotel" which is their previous name.

I've stayed for 4 night 5 days. - It took us 20-30 minutes to check-in. The queue started from us and we don't know why the procedure of the previous customer took so long. - The room key card couldn't use for twice during our stay and we needed to go down to the lobby to exchange the new one. - "reuse towel" card doesn't work. We tried twice to place the card on the bed according to their instruction but we always had the new towel whenever we asked for the room service. - The door sounds from the neighbor can be pretty noisy. I wasn't sure if it's the bathroom door or the main door. - My husband didn't like the towel smell. It's not smelly but it doesn't have soap smell. - The bed is quite stiff which is my preference but the pillow was too soft (it's really really soft).

bad experience

cheap beds not worthy of a so called 4 star hotel. the corridors leading to the rooms reeks go horrible cigarettes smell on the 10th floor . staff is clueless to complaints, just shrug their shoulders and said they will pass the message to the management. THIS IS NOT WORTHY OF A MARRIOTT Brand.

excellent stay. will stay here again if i have work and social activities around this area.

i have stayed in this hotel many times, that just shows how good the hotel has been from 20 years ago. it maintains its standard as a great place to stay when in penang.

fresher lines of bakeries, less oily croissants. croissants should taste buttery, not look and taste oily.

Overall was pleasant.

Overall comfort was good.

1. Difficult to communicated with the telephone operators, especially when calling from Singapore prior to my stay. 2. Insufficient lighting in the unit. 3. Ceiling light fused and not able to be replacement because there is no stock of the light bulb. 4. Laundry was expensive and not properly done. There was foul smell on the clothes and the ironing was badly done.

Good. Will come back to stay next time if improvement is taken

Feel like at home. Kids like so much.

Overall is value to stay but just a few things need to take note in the room. Air con in the TV room not function. Table lamp in the 3rd bed not function too. May be is holiday season not able on time to allow for check in which cost me to go somewhere then come back but when come back staff see customer stands near the counter still no one approch. A bit disappointed.

becuse i am long time customer vistana . use to stay there since 2007 . only feel comfortabel that place. only one things which is last time gote exces from parking to lif and direct to room . hope new mangement will think about it again . becuse we put our car at besment . and have to bring all our beg . so its not comfortabel. please think about it

2 room suite was spacious

Facilities are old and not well maintained: -Room door knob came off -Main entrance door to Suite Tower was jammed -The air-conditioner remote control was not functioning due to low battery power. No one answered when I dialed 0 to get someone to attend to my complain. -Aircond compressor was old and noisy, the outdoor units are installed near windows and made the room noisy. -the floor on corridors dirty -kids ran from swimming pool to the lift and to their rooms without wiping with towels so they drip and wet the floors everywhere they ran. Parents seemed to be indifferent as there was No enforcement by hotel staff. -No cleaning crew to clean up the mess left by the kids - there was no bellboy to assist guests with their luggages??!
